Madison River Brewing Cribbage League
The Madison River Brewing Cribbage League is designed to be fun, social, and competitive. Players sign up individually, and each week they are paired with a new teammate, keeping matchups fresh and building community.
Entry is $10 per person, with all proceeds going toward the league’s prize pool. The overall season champion selects the nonprofit organization that receives the donation.
League Schedule
Sunday League — 5:00 PM Start
• Starts: Sunday, October 18th
• 8 weeks of play
• No games: Sunday, November 29th (Thanksgiving weekend)
• Ends: Sunday, December 13th
• 10 teams playing at a time = 20 total people
Monday League — 6:00 PM Start
• Starts: Monday, October 19th
• 8 weeks of play
• No games: Monday, November 30th (Thanksgiving weekend)
• Ends: Monday, December 14th
• 10 teams playing at a time = 20 total people
Each night hosts 10 teams, meaning 20 players per night. All players from both nights contribute to one unified standings board.
Weekly Match Format
Players are paired with a new teammate each week.
• Each team plays a threegame series against the same opponent.
• Each game is worth 1 point per winning player.
• Points are accrued individually. o Example: If your team wins 2 out of 3 games, you and your partner earn 2 points for the week.
Season Scoring & Championship
• Points accumulate across all 8 weeks of play.
• Sunday and Monday players are combined into one overall standings list.
• The player with the most total points at the end of the season is crowned the Madison River Brewing Cribbage League Champion.
There is no playoff between the Sunday and Monday leagues — it’s one unified competition.
Prize & NonProfit Donation
• The overall champion chooses the nonprofit organizationthat receives the league’s collected entry fees.
